Empirical Analysis of Object-Oriented Design Metrics:Towards a New Metric Using Control Flow Paths and Probabilities

Abstract

The metric we propose is, in fact, multi-dimensional. It captures (indirectly) various aspects related to different internal software attributes, such as complexity and coupling (interactions between classes). It is basically based on control flow paths and probabilities.
