Open Access

JOT is open-access and completely free to both readers and authors (“platinum” model), which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.

Long-term preservation

All the journal content is preserved on the storing facilities of the University of Bern (Switzerland). Moreover, the journal is in the process of configuring the PKP PN by means of the OJS installation that can be found at http://submissions.jot.fm.

Repository policy

Authors are allowed to deposit all versions (submitted version, accepted version, and published version) of their papers on an institutional or other repository of the author’s choice without embargo..
