Automated Measurement of UML Models: an open toolset approach

Abstract

Modeling is playing an increasingly important role in the development of object-oriented software. In particular UML is becoming extremely popular as a modeling language for object-oriented systems. In order to manage the development process it is of crucial importance to be able to derive accurate quantitative knowledge from the software artifacts.
