UML for Modelling and Performance Estimation of Embedded Systems

Abstract

The core methodology of PBD is the Y-chart approach to system design. In this approach, an application model (derived from a specific application domain) describes the functional behaviour of an application in a timing and architecture independent manner. A platform defines architecture resources and captures their performance constraints.
