Abstract

The explosive growth of application areas such as electronic commerce, knowledge management, peer-to-peer and mobile computing demand software that is robust, can operate within a wide range of environments, and can evolve over time to cope with changing requirements. Autonomous agents and multi-agent systems are being used to cope with ever increasing complexity in such system requirements. As the complexity of software system increases, developers look for approaches to facilitate the development of software applications.
