As announced in the conference Call for Papers, there will be a Special Section
of JOT (Journal of Object Technology, www.jot.fm) with extended versions of the
best papers of [*CONFERENCE*]. Your paper entitled

is among those, and therefore we cordially invite you to submit an extension to
this Special Section.

Guidelines about author instructions and about JOT special sections can be
found at http://www.jot.fm/authors.html. Please read and follow these
instructions carefully.

Your extended paper will be subject to a full review process and must contain
at least 30% new content, eg. full proofs of theorems, empirical validation, or
new results. Accepted papers should be of "journal quality" -- that is, they
should describe mature and complete results, rather than work in progress.

Together with the extended version of your paper you should submit a letter
clearly explaining the changes and extensions made to your original paper.

The schedule for this special section is as follows:

* Dec 1  Deadline for submitting extended articles (to be sent in PDF
  to  [*<MMMM@DDDD.COM>*])
* Feb 15 Reviews returned to authors
* March 15 Deadline for submitting revised articles following
  reviewers’ suggestions
* April 30 Final notifications
* May 15 Camera-ready version submission

Please note acceptance of extended articles is not guaranteed, although we hope
that all authors whose extensions are of sufficient quality will be accepted.

Please let us know as soon as possible if you accept the invitation -– if we
don't hear from you before XXX 30, 20XX, we will reluctantly assume that you
prefer to decline the offer.
