Editorial note

Dear Readers,

As of the July-August issue, I will be taking over from Richard Wiener as Editor-in-Chief of JOT. I would like to thank him for the many years he has dedicated to establishing JOT as a high-quality open-access journal covering a wide range of topics related to object technology.

After 8 years of JOT, it is time to explore some changes in format, in content, and in editorial process. I will explain some of the planned changes in an upcoming editorial. In the mean time, I would be most happy to hear from readers about the things you like about JOT as it is, and the things you would like to see changed or improved.

To facilitate the transition, I will be taking over the review process from Richard starting May 1. Please send all future submissions to oscar.nierstrasz@acm.org.
