Anthony Simons has completed a major milestone with his 20th and final column in his series about language types. I know that I speak for our readers in expressing my great appreciation for his prolific and high quality contributions to JOT. He has indicated that he may have another series of columns in preparation after possibly taking a well deserved break. We of course are hopeful that this will occur.

I continue to be grateful to our other columnists, Mahesh Dodani, Won Kim, Douglas Lyon and John McGregor. Some of these columnists have produced their work while traveling or on vacation. I greatly appreciate their diligence.

Two of our feature-length papers deal with the C# language and .NET and a third paper with a unit testing framework for Eiffel.
