Personalization by Program Slicing

Abstract

The development of a tailored and personalized user interface is one of the main challenges to achieve more usable applications. However, the explicit specification of all possible personalized user interfaces for an application requires great a priori knowledge and high development effort. The article addresses this problem and provides a generative approach providing personalized navigation using the example of hierarchical web applications.
